Art, Heritage, and Horses: A Creative Collaboration with Siddharth Memorial Charitable Trust
As part of STAAD's continued commitment to preserving Indian heritage and equestrian culture, I had the privilege of leading an art session with the bright young minds of the Siddharth Memorial Charitable Trust in Noida. The workshop was a wonderful sharing of history, storytelling, and creativity. We investigated the role of horses throughout Indian history, from the bravery of Maharana Pratap's famed steed, Chetak, to the majestic customs of polo that formerly graced royal courts. The children were fully engaged, asking questions and expressing their ideas as we discussed how horses have changed not only military and sport but also our culture, art, and identity over time. Following our conversation, the children turned their knowledge into bright artwork, each piece reflecting the stories they had just heard and their pride in our common ancestry. These personal creations were later incorporated in a unique candle gifting during the Jindal Polo Open Championship, elevating the event beyond a celebration of sport to one of young talent and historical remembrance. This partnership was a tiny but significant step toward linking India's past and present through the eyes of a new generation.
STAAD x Jindal Polo Open Championship
Becoming the official gifting partner at the Jindal Polo Open Championship was more than just a brand moment — it was a personal milestone. As someone who only recently started STAAD, standing alongside legends of the polo world, offering gifts wrapped in the essence of our brand, felt surreal. I found myself face-to-face with individuals I’ve long admired, now receiving something I had created. It was humbling, affirming, and a moment I’ll carry with me forever.
